We raised our two boys in Boat Park, virtually lived there every day and birthday parties, etc. always should have had a bathroom, though we live close on 44th and Judah. Great idea, boys are grown and gone, but it is a great place for kids and needs a bathroom!

I suggest you also ask that this restroom be kept open every day, once it has been built. The Beach Chalet restroom is now locked to everyone but soccer players. Rumors of vandalism are not substantiated -- we visit this area often, and the restroom has been in excellent condition for the last four years. Restrooms in less used areas of the park have been kept open.

I don't have children and am way past childbearing years but this sounds reasonable to me so I support it.

This is a heavily used playground and the experience for all would be vastly improved if a bathroom was available.
It has been needed for many years.

We use to have to hike to Other Avenues to use their restroom. This is long overdue!
