Malesef tum dunya, savasta bile gorulmeyecek olaylara sahit olmus, yaralilara yardim eden doktorlar ve insan haklarini savunan avukatlarimiz gorev basindayken polisler tarafindan tutuklanmislardir.

The public outcry started after the brutal police attack on the Gezi Park protesters on 05/31/2013 at 5:00 am, while the people were sleeping. The protests have still been going on in Turkey. This attack, sparked an uprising by the public in 81 cities and resulted in five deaths, thousands of wounded people and numerous people lost their sight. There are many people in hospitals that are in serious condition, with the risk of losing their lives. Sadly, during these demonstrations, we have seen inhumane acts by the police that would not even be used by military, during times of war. Doctors who have been helping the people in need, have been tear gassed and arrested. The lawyers, who are fighting for the destroyed human rights, have also been arrested by the police. Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, instead of listening to the cry and needs of his people, he turns a deaf ear and claims that all the protesters are “terrorists”. We urgently invite PM Erdogan to end the police brutality and meet with the protesters to reach an agreement. The collected signatures will be sent to the relevant organization/association in Turkey.
