Found bugs in three seperate nuts from the same bag of pistachios from Wonderful Pistachios. I stopped "crackin" so there are probably more in there. I understand once in a blue moon someone finds a bug but for the only comments on their social media pages to all be about people finding bugs.. it makes you wonder if their growing and quality practices/procedures need to be looked into.

i have found a maggot in mine twice in 2 weeks!! This is disgusting and ridiculous!!

Simply disgusting... I had the same experience this morning after opening the nut and finding a beatle inside in a white type of web.... similar to what you see spiders making. It's just disgusting!!!!!!

I HAVE ACCIDENTALLY EATEN ONE OF THE BUG INFESTED PISTACHIOS IT WAS AN EXTREMELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I wasn't paying attention; i had no idea that it was even possible, and suddenly one of the pistachios I had had the absolute worst taste I have ever experienced. I still have trouble eating pistachios after this I CANNOT BELIEVE that there is no warning for this, if there was, I wouldnt have eaten one!!!!

This is a shame that a person spends so much on what they think is a nice bag of pistachios to only bite into nasty maggots .

My wife bit into a pistashio and the other half had not one but 2 maggots in it. She was puking in the garbage for the last 5 minutes.

My four year old found a worm in the last nut after we ate the whole bag! They told me it happens and it isn't uncommon but completely harmless! How am I supposed to explain that to her when she vomits from an anxiety attack at dinner time because she doesn't want to eat?! Not every kid does well with emotions.
