Wonderful Brand Pistachios WARNING LABEL FOR BUGS

I had found a worm in my Wonderful pistachios as well, and am disgusted.

I used to buy Wonderful Pistachios but after finding worms in almost every bag (never ate one that I know of), my wife made me stop buying them. They are the cheapest pistachios but you get what you pay for.

I find it very interesting how they claim they roast them and how there process makes them harmless or that they inspect them. There is absolutely no way they even checked the bag I received because I have killed no less then 50 of them in my pantry that were flying around. I was stumped trying to figure out where these gnat type bugs were coming from and when I opened the 1.5lb bag of wonderful pistachios 2 flew out and about 10 dead bugs in the in between stage of life were inside. This means that even though they roast them at least 50+ managed to make it through the roasting process and survived to infest my home. I find that hard to believe. I don't believe they are doing anything to protect consumers. I have purchased store brand pistachios in the past and not once have I ever received a single bug in them until now and I happen to not only find one or two but and entire infestation. I will be getting my money back and from now on I will be going with the ones that are handpacked instead of machine packed and where I can see inside the container. Among the bugs is at least 1/2 of the bag of rotten pistachios and cocoon material mixed in with bug carcasses. I think I received more bugs then edible pistachios and these are expensive bugs.

I agree %100 today I had a package and opened one of the nuts and sure enough there was a meal worm looking like thing. Thankfully I noticed before I ate it.

Found two nuts with egg sacs in them. Idk what insect it's from but the first looked like roach eggs while the other was some kinda worm larvae. I did message the company about a week or so ago but got no response. I'm only back because I found another. I just want to be assured that it's beyond their control and that they're doing everything for someone not to consume anything...foreign. Location: Canada

Found a worm inside a pistachio today. It won't keep me from eating them but I would definitely like a warning label

We just found a couple in our pistachios too from this Wonderful Pistachio Company brand. This is the most disgusting news. They need to make a warning label.

Warning could contain bugs and worms

Just found 6 moths in my pitaschios. Will never eat Wonderful again. There should be a warning label.
