I thought I was the one of the few picky enough to notice. I guess there are a number of us. I noticed it long ago for the first time, when I bought wonderful pistachios. I've always eaten salted pistachios and there my favorite, until I found a couple in a few pistachios. I stopped eating them for a while because I was grossed out by it and didn't like the fact I have to pay extra attention when eating them. After a couple years, I started eating some other brand pistachios that were in my store, never found bug larvae in it. I thought that this bug epidemic is over. Just now I ate some wonderful pistachios, after 7 pieces, guess what??? A larvae!!!! Now it all made sense, until now I didn't know this was exclusive to wonderful pistachios. I know although that this is not entirely true, I'm sure other producers have larvae. Just not as much as wonderful pistachio has, I don't know who the hell supplies there pistachios, but there should definitely be a disclaimer.

Totally uncalled for as I have lived around pistachio farms and bought many a bag and never encountered this until buying the wonderful brand.

I have unfortunately had multiple incidents where my purchase of "Wonderful " pistachios have been full of maggots and I don't think they should even be allowed to sell such a product !! Since the latest incident I have started buying in bulk at my local grocery store and have yet to encounter any "field pests" so obviously the problem is somewhere within Wonderfuls production process !! They didn't even have the decency to respond to my email !!

Have found worms in our little 8oz of Pistachios!! With little babies in their cocoons! I definitely think there should be a warning message on the bag if this is going to continue, I am very disappointed! The exp date or best used by is July 17, 2016.

I have experienced this multiple times and have saved every infested pistachio. I too thought it may be a naturally occurring thing, however, this is the ONLY brand I have experienced this problem. Since I've switched from this brand, I have yet to see an infested pistachio.

LOL. Do you have any idea how many bugs you've eaten in your lifetime? It's in the millions. All REAL FOOD may contain bugs. All that fruit in the produce aisle? Littered with bugs (at the very least, eggs). Rice? Bugs. Even cereal that's wrapped in a bag and stuffed into a box is frequently subject to flour beetle or weevil infestations. Pistachios grow on trees... where bugs live. It's not just Wonderful; I've found larvae in nearly every bag of pistachios I've ever eaten, from every source. How did we get to a point in society where everything has to be labelled? "Warning: you are not the only creature on this planet that eats. Therefore, some other creature may have gotten to this food before you." Should we put labels all over every real food product in the grocery store? People like you may just turn to a steady diet of nothing but overly processed "food stuffs."

I'm literally laying in bed in the dark enjoying my pastachios when I go to eat one and it feels like cotton of something was in it, thank god I looked to see eactly what it was, a big nasty crunchy bug I almost threw up, and I'm terrified of bugs i have never in all my years of eatting pastachios had this problem that's not normal and I will never say of hey it's just a bug it's not acceptable !

Just bought a bag today at school and had to inform the lunch attendant of it so no one else has this porblem. I even asked several other students around me to verify that it was a bug which I almost ate thinking it may just be a part of the nut but something didn't look right. People should definitely be warned. No one wants to eat bugs.
It's gross.
Found a toasty dead worm inside one.
