I just experienced this as well. Opened the shell to find a worm and webs inside the shell. Very unpleasant and disgusting, I'm done eating these from now on

So my fiance loves these pistachios and today I went to the store and bought him a bag took home to surprise him, well he was excited that I bought them well as he was eating them he found the a work which truthfully looks like a maggot to us. NEVER BUYING AGAIN

I found a worm in my pistachio. I had it partway in my mouth before I heard the papery sound of a cocoon. I spat it out, noticed the worm, and cringed.
