I found two in one bag! That's all that I know of because my boys were eating what I thought was a healthy snack!

How did people not know this already? I've eaten them since I was a kid and knew there was a possibility for a wormy pistachio now and then. Never bothered me.
Jovani Lopez, you still need a warning label to tell you even after you've found this out for yourself? Its easy, the infested nuts usually have dark jagged/scored surfaces and a web holding the nut in or shell together.

Found a worm today in my pistachio. I ate the nut only to find the worm attached to the shell. Let's just say it didn't make me feel the best! Never heard of this until researching and i normally crack the nut and pop it in my mouth. Please put a warning label on the bags so people are aware this cpuld happen.

Please put a warning sing on your newest and to be coming bags of pistachios!! If finding the worms is hard to detect then just go all around shell-less... Eliminate the shell and find all the infected nuts and discard!!!

I just ate pistachios minutes ago and found the worm nested in the shell NEARLY ATE IT i would loveeeee a label to be on it so id inspect every shell better before eating it.

You should be know that they are in there I found one in my nut when I was younger and since then I look at every one I eat any tell people when I remember but it should just be on the bag
