I have been eating Wonderful Pistachios for a while but was lucky enough to never have seen or noticed if there were bugs (I did occasionally come across the "sour" or "tangy" ones that everyone has been describing). It wasn't until about a month ago I was eating a pistachio that had the foulest taste ever. I didn't look at it, just threw the bag away. Skip to 2 weeks ago, I began ordering bags of Wonderful Pistachios for our office through Amazon. I was going to do a reorder of the ones I usually buy but stopped when I saw the reviews...and the pictures. People showing that they were finding worms and cockroaches entombed in their pistachios. The photos were so stomach churning that I have put a hold on buying these since. I was VERY lucky to have not had this problem in our office yet but if I hadn't seen the reviews and talks of a petition from customers, I probably would have kept ordering these until I or one of my coworkers ate from an infested bag. PUT A WARNING LABEL ON THESE!

I ate a really disgusting vile tasting pistachio so I started looking at the nuts before I ate them and sure enough I found one of those navel worms in one on the nuts I opened. I DID NOT know that there could be field pests in my food and if they had put a warning label on the bag in the first place I would have never accidently eaten one to start but also I would have never bought the product! This is disgusting and a disgrace! Put a warning label on so I know I'm not eating bugs my god!!!!!!

Found a Navel worm in several nuts. They must send the same cookie cutter response out as I got the same reply verbatim from the company. They then sent me coupons for free bags which I promptly sent back with a letter stating I would never be buying their product again if they KNOWINGLY sell a product with infestation of worms. No thanks. Do a better job.

Absolutely disgusting! Found worms in my pistachios, a warning would have definitely been appreciated as I would have stayed away from them or have looked them over more thoroughly before eating.

Bought 2 giant bags of wonderful salt and pepper shelled pistachios marked down to a clearance level price so I grabbed two bags for $20. Have been eating on the first bag for a week. Noticed loose stool for the last week with no other changes in my diet except for these pistachio nuts. Yesterday, made a discovery that many of the nuts in bag have black specks all over the nut inside the shell. They are labeled salt and pepper but what is in on the nut itself is actually bug droppings from a pest invasion prior to processing. I noticed it in the beginning but thought nothing of it since the taste of the nuts were not altered. The diarrhea has progressed over the last week so both bags will be going back with expectation of a full refund.

Found bugs in our bag today. Wife may have eatin a couple. I understand it could happen, but when you buy a product you expect good quality.

I found a few worms in shells. Usually i dont really pay attention so not sure how many times Ive eaten pistachios with worms in them. Also those same ones looked molded.

I just had the sa ame experience with maggots inside but the worst part of it all I ate half of it... i am outraged and grossed out! I already hate moths as it is, and they have the nerve to be in my favorite nuts which I just fell out of love with because of this incident. Thank you w♡nderful

I found what I knew looked exactly like a wax worm. Probably ate some and pretty grossed out but, hey, you live and learn. Nature will be nature

I just found a bug in mine and I understand that it can happen but I think a label on the bag should be in place
