The BBC soap EastEnders has failed to represent the large percentage of Africans living within East London. They may have black characters on the soap but those characters are Carribeans and are not a representation of Africans. Therefore I petition for the BBC and the EastEnders producers to GET AN AFRICAN FAMILY ON EASTENDERS! I have started a group on facebook called 'GET AN AFRICAN FAMILY ON EASTENDERS' and it recieved over 11,000 followers within the first week of it being created. This clearly shows that I am not alone in feeling as though Africans have been ignored and underepresented by the BBC soap. I would greatly appeciate it if those of you who feel the same way as I do sign this pettition so that the BBC may at least consider the thought of Africans on Albert Square.
