I'm signing this petition and urging you to rescue a dog from your local shelter. PLEASE do NOT support breeders or puppy mills. Too many unwanted animals crowd the shelters and too many more are euthanised. Breeders and puppy mills shouldn't be allowed to be in business. If you insist on a pure bred pet, I PROMISE you will find MANY to choose from at the shelters.

Take the kids to the rescue and give a pooch a loving home. You won't regret it , although bear in mind you'll probably have to walk the dog and pick up the poo x
