I have been going through the comments and seeing so many people echo the same deep frustration about this long overdue recognition. It is clear that the lack of a testimonial for Woan still feels like a genuine sting for those of us who watched him serve the club for over a decade. I am currently reaching out to those in power to ensure they see exactly how much this would mean to the fans.

Good servent & a very good player this day & age would be worth big money with his left foot
As a life long forest fan from Ireland ... All 37 years ! Ian woan was an idol ... That left peg was amazing and this man deserves the recognition for the years he put into forest ... A true forest legend !
Cost us nearly nowt and was a class act unlike Platt's overpriced and overpaid Italian imports and the totally useless Platt himself. We owe Woany
Woany isn't just a Forest legend. He's a cult hero of 90s football who scored some of the most memorable goals of the early Premiership years. Two promotions, 3rd place in the Prem and a memorable UEFA Cup run to his name, this man deserves a testimonial!
Ian Woan deserves a testimonial and the right to say goodbye to the fans properly.
