SeeHello, my name is Ellie Little. As many of you know by now, I have but two great loves in my life: my husband, and all dogs ever in existance.

After 4 wonderful years together, and following our marriage, my darling husband made a promise to me; as soon as we had our own home, I could finally adopt the dog of my dreams.

Let me be clear, that I have always been direct in my ambitions. My partner has always been aware, since the day we met, of my need for a canine companion. In fact he has already agreed on a breed, Golden Retriever, and a name, Saratoga!!!

And yet, having been in our new home for months now, I am still lacking my promised pooch. My husband has now made the far off “promise” of a pup by this summer. But you cannot blame me for my skepticism.

So here I am asking for help.

I am asking for signatures and endorsements so that I may formally petition my husband for the once promised puppy. I am looking for at least 250, if not more, signatures. The more this petition is spread around, and the more support I stand to garner. And with the weight of our family, friends, the internet and my immense adoration for puppies perhaps I will finally obtain the Golden Child I have been promised.
