Congo is the poorest country among the world. Congo was surrounded by conflict problems and having a lot of wars. They have forced children to join the army, there are no enough food for all of the kids and they can’t keep their energy during the training of the army, it causes them to death.

It has been estimated that lack of food is the biggest problem that causes child mortality. There’s only one way to solve the problem, people need to improve household food security and nutrition information to let children grow up and be healthy. Congo have the biggest poverty problem in the world, but the rate of child mortality have been decreased these years. In the past 50 years, the global mortality rate has declined by 70%. In just the last 20 years the number of annual child deaths has fallen by 4.4 million each year.

To reduce the number of child dying in Congo, Our goal to achieve is holding up some programs to provide more food to Congo, so we are going to take leftover food from the market and transport the food to Congo. We will transport food to Congo twice a week if available. When the governments around the world sign up for the MDGs, they have promised that they will reduce the number of mother’s and children dying, but governments have failed to prioritise the health needs of the children and their mothers. Many of the mothers in Congo would die after child-born or pregnancy. So we should do something and help them, the kids and their mother have the rights of being alive and healthy. We hope at least 300 people would sign. Get involved and sign for our statement.
