Watching the count approach one hundred signatures reminds me how many people hold the music of The Urge close to their hearts. We have built some momentum but reaching this threshold will signal that our request carries real weight with the community. The Urge meant the world to me growing up as I traveled around the world in the Army back in the day. This band was a source of St. Louis Pride for many of us in the military. You guys deserve a star and it is not even a question. I hope you get it!
PTMFUS.....The Urge is a St.Louis ICON for sure. My wife and I have been going to their shows since they played her prom at Ursuline....now we have to recover from their shows for two to three days from jumping and dancing....PTMFUS
If the urge is not eligible for a star on the St. Louis walk of fame, then exactly who is? They were part of a nationwide movement in the 90s that changed music forever. Steve and the boys are exactly the type of St. Louisans that make me proud to be from this city....
The Urge are STL music legends and definitely deserve this. And I had the pleasure of meeting Steve Ewing at his hot dog shop in The Hill a few months ago, and he was the nicest, most humble dude you could possibly imagine. Get these guys a star!
I think that the st. Louis band The Urge definitely deserves a star on the st. Louis Walk of Fame when I think Mississippi nights the first thing that comes to my mind is the urge selling out multiple nights especially Thanksgiving and Christmas

The Urge at the pageant every Black Friday is one of the only reasons I make my yearly pilgrimage back from FL. Further, please look in to what everyone in the band has done for the community through donations and volunteer efforts
