We have been trying to get Quindaro Blvd shutdown for several events and have been declined. According to an old policy, the entire street of Quindaro is considered a highway. "Quindao Day" is rapidly approaching and we would like to shut the street down for a Block Party/Festival on 9-12-2021. Please help us gather enough signatures in support of this day in getting 17th to 18th Street (one block) shutdown for this eventful day. WE DON'T WANT ANY CONTRIBUTIONS/MONEY. WE JUST NEED A SIGNATURE... THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

The city officials keep hiding behind their pathetic highway policy while our community shows exactly what we want. This momentum proves the gatekeepers at City Hall can no longer ignore the people who actually live on these streets.

Every County in Kansas has a day except Wyandotte. Shawnee has Old Shawnee days on Johnson Drive they blocked it off for a street block party why can't we. Olathe blocks off Kansas for Old Settlers day again I ask why can't we❓
One block for one day to support the residents of Wyandotte County should never be an issue.

They always find a way to tell us no whenever we try to have something nice in our own neighborhood. Just open the street for one day.
