Thank you for considering expansion.

I am the present chair of the Cycling Scandia board and I cannot see a more valuable investment that has long-term benefits to visitors or local residents in the Scandia area. Over the past couple of years, cycling has been one of the most community-building, healthy activities enthusiasts or novices can participate in on our trails and parks.

The Gateway State Trail is an amazing resource with the potential to connect communities. Please extend to Scandia and beyond!

In time, this extension will highlight the priority that MN gives to a healthy relationship with the outdoors.

This wonderful real idea will be good for all the little towns along the way including Stillwater, marine, and of course Scania. Not to mention her beloved William O'Brien State Park. I am glad to help. Let me know how I can make this good thing happen!

Strongly support the Gateway Trail section to Scandia. It will be wonderful for visitors and residents alike to connect one the most used state parks in MN to downtown Scandia!

Please extend this trail. Hoping to get pedestrian and bicycle access on the Hwy 243 bridge. Would be excellent to have this connection established and connect to Osceola too! Thank you.

I like bikes and I like happy people, so more trails = more happy people on bikes

As the population of this part of Washington County increases, an increase is also needed in the recreational opportunities available to them too!

We love riding our bikes here but much prefer offroad trails. We feel so much safer, and we can enjoy nature so much more than riding on a toad in traffic.

Scandia and Marine are treasures!! A trail linking the two would be great for both of them!!

My family has been on Big Marine Lake for nearly 70 years, and my parents live there now. I live in North St. Paul, this connection would link my two hometowns!
