I've played with this man over twenty years ago. Just GET them!!!! You never know, if I turn up, he might let me drum!!!!

To be honest the band were initially amused by the news of this petition but on consideration we are of course sincerely flattered. Emerald Thieves first played Keswick approx one year after forming and were literally blown away by the reception we received. As a band we set out to offer something different from the norm but sadly encountered so many doubters and negative-thinking agents it quickly became a major struggle for the band to even survive. Keswick festival goers were the first audience to truly 'get us'. We cite the Beer Festival as instrumental in saving the band by restoring our faith and inspiring us to continue as Emerald Thieves. Now proudly in our 10th year the band has grown up before the very eyes of Keswick Beer Festival and gone from strength to strength in the process. Festival party spirit is now in our DNA, Keswick and Glastonbury are the major highlights of each year. Emerald Thieves would be honoured to return in 2017 but, having been lucky enough to appear there previously, we also fully appreciate the importance of musical variety. The organisers do an amazing job every year so by all means let them know your preferences but please respect their decisions and show your full support regardless of who they choose to book. Rest assured if Emerald Thieves are not there performing then we WILL be there drinking and enjoying the party with you all. Big loves and huge thanks from the Thieves! XX

Emerald thieves yes please

I have seen Emerald Thieves on numerous occasions. Always a crowd pleaser whether it be an intimate pub gig venue or a large festival venue. Excellent musicians and the vocals from the Emerald Thief himself are awesome.

Went to the festival when Emerald Thieves were on and it was awesome! Recommended it to everyone I spoke to about it - this year though sadly it was a bit of a disappointment and it was purely the lack of Thieves that let it down
