I believe Lil Kim is the direct reason Hip Hop and Fashion go hand and hand. I think she is the reason so many in the culture are able to rock fashion and recognize labels. She modeled, assisted, designed, and introduced new fashions to the industry. She is The ORIGINAL Ambassador between Hip Hop and fashion.

Lil Kim is & will Always be a fashion icon. She's the first rap chic to name labels in her songs. Which brings recognition to the designer as well as sales.
