Year round school can be both a positive and negative aspect. Though, most research found by Year Round Schooling, it positives with the performance of students or those who are deemed at risk for academic problems such as with children who come from a low income family or performing bad in school. Also, year round school not only benefits the students academics improvement but it also improves the schools in general test scores and grades. The schools with year round school have better test scores than traditional school. Similarly, year round school is beneficial is because students would not be able to forget all of the learning due to the three-month break of summer. With year round school students would receive better education because according to Education for Freedom Lesson 1, students are more focused because they have more interaction in the classroom with teachers teaching them new material and not wasting the first two to three weeks after summer re-teaching and for students to re-learn the information they learn before summer started. Year round schools also give the advantage for people to get more breaks through the year.
