Joe Jackson was kicked out of baseball with a lack of evidence. He allegedly threw a World Series for money with the "Black" Sox. During this 1919 World Series vs. the Reds, Jackson batted .375 (highest on either team), had 6 RBIs (highest on the Sox), hit 3 doubles, and the series' only home run. He was by far the best player in the whole series, and it is obvious he was out to win it. Meanwhile, he did accept money from gamblers that were throwing the World Series. Then again, Jackson was not educated (he could barely write his whole name) and probably didn't know what the money was for. Players didn't receive that much money back then, so when given to him, he took it. Jackson knew one thing, and that was how to play baseball. He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame and sign up if you agree. Career statistics- Avg. .356 H 1772 OBP .432 HR 54 RBI 785
