After the insensitive and profoundly offensive comments Seth Rogen had to share via twitter about the new release "American Sniper", it is clear this individual doesn't understand or respect the Americans who sacrifice their lives every day in order for him to make such idiotic remarks! It is their courage, selflessness, pride for this nation, and sacrifice that enables him freedom of speech. Duh.
It simply showed his complete lack of respect for this nation and his obvious sense of entitlement. But I mean, c'mon folks, there's no one more important than a self-proclaiming 'comedic' actor, right?
He later attempted to dig himself out of this hole by saying, "My grandfather was a veteran." Most of our grandfathers were veterans, dude. And brothers and cousins and uncles and fathers and sisters and mothers. Perhaps if Mr. Rogen stepped outside of the golden persona he's convinced himself he lives in and thought about his grandfather, it would deter him from making dumb-ass statements that any American is surely to be insulted by.
It is people like Mr. Rogen, that many Americans, such as myself, would love to witness his capacity for not only completing an authentic military bootcamp (without preferential, star-status treatment) but also performing in the line of fire.
