I said this before and I’ll say it again, the Saskatchewan Party screwed this.

This is so necessary... how can you expect people to work without childcare... all kids deserve to be safe!

We are front line and essential workers. We are professionals and it is sad to see that even the government does not see us as that. Teachers can remain 6ft apart from their students but Early Childhood Educators can't.

ECEs are educators + have the same risks to exposure as Pre-K - 12 Educators - we are behind you.

All ECEs should be eligible as essential workers as they have been working throughout the pandemic in order that patents can work or attend school. If those attached to schools are eligible, there is no sensible reason from the health perspective of impact on staff, children and families why those working in other facilities should not be eligible.

I think they should get vaccinated just like all the teachers they look after kids all day.

The childcare staff need to be vaccined so this virus isn’t carried to the children and brought home.

I am an ECE . I never stopped working though this pandemic. But it so sad we are not recognize enough as frontline worker. Is all saskatchewan families can go for work without any childcare facilities? And we regularly deal with at least 20 kids per day. Are we not enough exposed with covid 19 as per government ? For me it so sad that government treated all ECE differently.

We deserve to be protected as well. We are essential. Those kids might spend their days at school but they come to our after.

We are essential enough to have remained open this entire pandemic, its only fair that we are recognized as essential enough for ALL ECE's to be elegable for the vaccine.

As a certified Early Childhood Educator Level III, I am greatly disappointed in the Government for the exclusion of ECE’s in the priority vaccination categories. I work with UNMASKED toddlers in a stand-alone licensed childcare centre. I am put at a much greater risk, and so are the children/families in my care.

All childcare workers should be on the same list as teachers. The kids go directly from the school to daycare, covid can be spread just as easily!

It only makes sense to protect these vital workers who are exposed to so many little ones each day.
