The administration reversed the policy and we can finally go to class without those ridiculous layers. It took far more energy than it should have to get here but I am relieved we persisted. Thank you for staying with me through the heat and the frustration.

Right Now in Malden Catholic, we are being forced to wear unsuitable clothing in the hot weather. Frist, we were supposed to get rid of it in March then they decided to change it on us when we did nothing wrong. The boys didn't even have to change anything. This petition is for the administration to see that many girls believe the same thing and that we need change.

we have been wearing them since November and they told us that march 17th they would take the leggings away. Administration then switched it to after april break, now until june??? unreasonable to the girls
This is not fair. It’s so hot out and y’all already said we don’t have to wear anything underneath in the spring.
completely unfair, sends a message that ppl in power can change the rules whenever they want w/o taking into account the opinion or wants of the MAJORITY being affected by it
Girls should not have to wear two layers during the summer when they are in school because of what boys would fix. Correct how the boys act and think, not how the girls dress.
When it’s hot at Malden Catholic and we still have to wear leggings we will get sweaty and need more trips to fill out water bottles, which could then lead to losing class time.
it’s not just about the uniform it’s the principle !!!
