Just read this petition now and done a little bit of research. All these comments seems like it was a perfect place to live before this building was built in 2015 so looked up the postcode and 21 crimes was committed in this street in 2013. Was there a petition for all these people? http://www.whataddress.co.uk/postcode/np7-6er

These people need to be put where they cannot harm other people living there own lives. Instead of in the middle of a big estate and in the middle of two schools. The sooner they are gone the better.

This is unacceptable we as residents should have been told about what this building is used for before it being built it has already been set on fire by the people living in there no an elderly lady attacked what is next we this is a direct route for 2 schools and kids play in this area we need this building shut down for everbodys safety

You all need to be absolutely disgusted with yourselves, targeting the most vulnerable individuals in our society in the way you are doing so! These individuals, who by the way have learning disabilities and accociated conditions like autism, have every right to live in our community and experience a normal life! Yes they may have some behavioural difficulties that our community has witnessed and no it wasnt okay for an a lady to be assualted, not okay at all. But she wasnt injured and from what i seen the staff managed the situation well. Let me tell you there are far more "dangerous" people living amounst us who cause far more of a nuisance than those poor people. How about you show a bit more compassion and tolerance towards these poor chaps and ladies who are trying to adjust to their new home and environment. Good help any of you have children with difficulties and require the help that these people need, and there local community turning against them. People get a grip, the olden days of locking folk up just because they have additional needs went out of fashion 50 years ago, these are no paedos or criminals, they are people with learning disabilities!

This is supposed to be a secure unit and it's clearly not. Members of the community should feel safe to walk the streets where they live.

should never be in the middle of an estate and in 1/2 mile of three schools a disgrace that local residents have to live with this on their doorstep

Well I new it would come to this!! Putting severely mental health people and ex cons on a council estate and next to two schools is ridiculous! I have even witnessed a carer taking a patient to King Henry school then refused to move she had to radio for help!! Might I also add that a patient barricaded himself in a few weeks back and set the place alight!! Totally unsafe to be around the community wishing Rita a speedy recovery after the attack on her last night!!

I've lived here for 19 years and never saw as much police/ambulance/fire engines activity at the old "Red Brick" as I have seen in the months that these new buildings have been there. And the "Red Brick" had a bad reputation. There was absolutely no consultation with local residents regarding the use of these new buildings by Monmouthshire Housing Association and sounds very much like backdoor politics to me.
