It's been 3 months since I first heard that an agent in the ******* ** seating section inside of Telus International had been bitten by bed bugs. It was later confirmed by upper management that a female agent admitted to having bed bugs at home & transferring them into the building with a throw blanket.

There's been several incidents since then where additional agents have complained of being bitten and went to the Dr where it was confirmed that it was a bed bug bite. The only attempts to correct this have been sending agents home for the day, advising us to leave our blankets & jackets home or in our lockers to prevent the spread of the bed bugs. This issue has been brought to the attention of upper management & HR on many occasions & the only thing the company does is say they're taking care of it, a new email is sent out stating that they're aware of the "pest control issue" and will be having a routine site pest control" due to renovations. But within the emails it states, "it's important to have your home checked for the presence of bed bugs"

This hasn't gotten any better and there continues to be new sightings and bites within the building.
