I’m watching La Vuelta and this commentator has waffled on about ‘pregnant clouds’. I’ve tried over & over to watch races when he’s commentating, enough is enough!
So from today watching the highlights on ITV 4. Won’t be renewing the subscription.

Most anti British commentator on Eurosport. Gives minimum info about our own lads and bangs on continually about the French.

Very irritating. Just watching TdF and he’s talking gibberish over Brian Smith who doesn’t get to finish what starts as an interesting point. Completely missed Caruso and Bardet chasing past Bernard to claim mountain points at summit of Isoard. Then there’s his inane ‘banter’ like an annoying Alan Partridge (ie) any sense of having a laugh is lost due to the general banality of the subject matter. The ma’s a buffoon. There, rant over!

Does not give a balanced view on the riders. Has his favourites whom he uses the term 'this great man ' when he is referring to them. It must embarrass the riders he is rhyming on about. G Thomas summed. It up when he said 'it is only a bike race'. And please Carlton, stop shouting at sprints for the line, it only detracts from the race.

He loves the sound of his own voice and talks over everyone else, sick of him, turn over to ITV4 whenever I can simply because of him.
