I'm new to cycling this year (my son is a fan) and cannot believe what I have to listen to when Carlton Kirby 'commentates' in contrast to others. He either needs to up his game or be replaced.

Thought I'd download the Eurosport app today to watch Ghent Wevelgrem live but had second thoughts as maybe Kirby was 'commentating,' just as well I did as he was indeed the 'commentator'. I have just watched the highlights & once again had to listen to his drivel including in the last 300 mtrs. him saying 'who do you bring to the party & who's going to knock over the drinks table'. What a plonker, I rest my case.

Absolutely dreadful, use Matt Stephens and Brian Smith.
I used ITV4 for Tour de France..
Will watch Giro d'Itallia on Eurosport Player with out any english commentary.

Whilst I can't stand listening to Kirby's inane comments and his comedic commentary that only he finds amusing and which INDEED is not funny, I do find that commentary by Rob Hatch is sometimes completely over the top.
