back again to ruin the UAE tour, every year I hope they will see some sense but no, here we are again. Continues to be unable to pronounce Pogacar, 50% of the time choosing to pronounce it as Pockachar, you know pronouncing the name of the biggest name in cycling consistently correctly is so far below the basic minimum I don't know where ti start. And today at about 2km today proclaiming "the crowds are out in force" after the peloton pass maybe 4 or 5 people on a corner in the mostly spectator free race. Considering how much more people are being now asked to pay for cycling coverage in the UK is it too much to ask to finally ditch this amateur commentator?

He used to ruin motorsport for me. Now he ruins cycling. Has he never listened to anyone else commentate?
At the start of races, Murray Walker used to say “Go, Go, Go!” and then actually describe what was happening. James Allen used to say “Lights out and away we go,” then do the same thing.
I remember one race where, as the cars sprinted down to the first turn, and three crashed into the scenery, and the first three swapped positions, Kirby was saying, “It seems as if [the pole sitter] can just get his head down, he might easily win this one…”
ARE YOU NOT WATCHING?
Do you not want us to be tantalised with the possibilities?
That would be like watching the exact moment Oldham score against Liverpool in the FA Cup final and saying, “Liverpool will easily win this.”
Maddening!

Just rotten. Lackluster, no engagement, ruining cycling. No wonder there are barely any young fans these days

Listening to him commentate a sprint finish is painful, he can hardly get a full word out of his mouth let alone a sentence
