Oh no, the Vuelta is on and Rob Hatch is taking this tour off, so we are stuck with Kirby for the whole tour. This idiot has ruined my enjoyment of televised cycling ever since David Harmon quit.
Does Eurosport not watch or care about the standard of their broadcasts.

Only heard Eurosport commentary twice. Absolute pish compared to ITV4 - sure the adverts on the latter can do your head in ( make sure you have something else to do for 4-5 mins ) but the quality of commentary in-between is exceptional.

Cycling races spoiled by Kirby screeming like a Banshee at some of the most trivial incidents in the race. In the past he wasn't so bad but now causes me to switch Eurosport off missing the great entertainment cycling offers. Those tough men and women picking themselves off the road after a crash and getting back on their bikes. (Puts all of those whinging soccer players to shame)

Can't bear three weeks of Kirby's commentary for La Vuelta. May have to watch without sound . He is now waffling on about chocolate and constantly laughing at his own comments .

Had to suffer him during the Olympics and now I'm stuck with him for the next three weeks at the Tour of Spain. I'm afraid your petition to get rid of him is falling on deaf ears!!!

Wow I have only started to watch cycling and isn’t it time to get rid of Carlton kirby he is a nightmare to listen to he reminds me of Dan maskell on tennis they are too old and he keeps laughing at his own jokes so I switch over to listen to Brian smith or anyone else except him

It’s time for Carlton Kirby to retire. How he could have been given the olympics track cycling commentary is beyond belief: they are pursuiting- they DO NOT “have the right to fight”

I like John - he's there for the times when nothing is happening.
I actually don't mind Kirby too much when nothing is happening - that's when his wittering on doesn't matter. But once the racing is on, he's lost.
