I agree with the rambling comments and ridiculous “jokes” and personal remarks of Carlton Kirby . He should just comment on the race situation and not think he’s a celebrity or personality, he’s not by any means.

The Alan Partridge of cycling commentary. 80% or so of what he says is pointless, irritating, non-sensical drivel. If you have nothing to say, say nothing. "Embedded" and "frankly", are two pointless words that he uses ad-nauseum and he irritatingly takes the end of one sentence to build the next non-sequitur around e.g. from today "Now, who's in their wake and who's gonna get the wake up call". It's cringe-worthy.

Ruins the tours with his nonsensical so called commentary. Please use commentators that know cycling and are interested in the country that the race is taking place.

Excessive use of "To be honest" which means exactly NOTHING.
He is knowledgable but inmsists on filling every second of air time with some inane comment followed by his own giggle!

Or, at least, cut out that inane giggle and the "Ladybird" guides to history and geography. Try commentating on the cycling and the cyclists.

I am fed up with having to watch without sound because of CK when I want to hear Sean, Brian, Magnus etc who are great. CK ruins the event with his drivel and insults.
