Can’t listen to his inane chatter! Drives me insane! Thank God Gary, Ned and David on ITV 4 are doing the highlights - it was agony when only option was Eurosport! Can’t believe this bloke is a cycling “expert”! Never know what’s actually happening cos he never names riders or gets names wrong!!! And always hedges his comments with a question mark at the end of his assertion!!! Agony to listen to!

Would be nice if he allowed the expert ex riders to get a word in more often rather than telling us what might but most probably wont happen all the time.

Really glad I found this petition. He makes the commentary about himself and not the riders. He fills the air with trite sayings that mean nothing. if he does a highlights reel, he says the same phrases over and over again and sounds so proud of himself for being so 'clever'

He's got a natural aptitude for being irritating. I honestly don't think he realises what a superpower it is. ITV4 is unbearable due to the weight of adverts, so muted Eurosport it is.

I agree with other comments he seems to entertain himself and he’s always laughing at whatever he says himself and it’s annoying he certainly knows how to pronounce the name of all the towns which is interesting but overall I wouldn’t miss him

He speaks utter garbage along with the babbling Sean Kelly . Robbie McEwan , Adam Blyth the best commentators with rob hatch leading. Also where has Brian smith disappeared too he was great also
