Showground events have added much to local economy and the recreation opportunities to many residents of Peterborough and beyond. Peterborough generally declined over recent years such as the loss John Lewis and other major outlets. The loss of the showground would further damage the Peterborough brand

Planning laws are there to be obeyed by all...Peterbrough deserves to keep its speedway track ...rather than have developers ride roughshod over the law..

The showground was once a valued asset to the City with National & International events bringing visitors to the city. Can remember major speedway events being staged there.

The showground used ton be a mecca for some of the biggest events in the UK. We don't need more 'London dormitories'. We need speedway, truckfest, livestock shows, exhibitions..................oh.........and more speedway!!
