Showgrounds are being closed down everywhere. We need these venues kept open for people to enjoy.

This venue should be left for speedway truckfast and all the other great events that go on here milton estate did not give this to them to build house on this site they will be turn in there graves . And as for there councillor saying this is a good idea they don't care what the public want just what they want one councillors had there election campaign funded by apeg it's about time the councillors earned there money and push for what the public want not what the councillors or big company's want .
This should be put out to the public to vote on the whole site just so you see how strongly the people of peterborough and countrywide want the showground to be the showground and have great events on all year round not more house to put our hospital under more pressure and will basic break our hospital as they just will not cope there have to diverted most of time from thrusday to Sunday to hinchingbrooke Bradford kings lynn so don't put no more pressure on us at the hospital and leave the showground as the showground for events

Please protect and save our showground. Facilities like this are hard to find and are never, ever replaced on they're built on. If we lose it, we lose the facility forever. We need more community facilities like Showgrounds. They should be protected as Community Assets, like pubs and other assets are.

The showground needs to be used for events for locals and others like it used to be. Also the speedway needs to be allowed back there also. We have enough houses in the area with many more being built so no more need to be built on here!!

Moved next to the vibrant showground 30 years ago. Loved the buzz of activity. It’s now a dead zone. Bring back Truckfest, the motorhome shows, the MCN bike festival, the Tour of Cambridgeshire and the speedway. Peterborough needs these events.

A wonderful showground with great Speedway and other similar events over the years. There's plenty of grey land suitable for housing without taking over valued and fun recreational areas that are ever more important with the growing community

Don't let the wonderful sport of speedway be lost to Peterborough. I have visited many times and seen some superb racing, supported by an enthusiastic crowd.
