The events were at the showground long before the house. Peterborough is losing everything we don’t need more houses and hotel. We have lost the East of England show, speedway, car racing, expo steam, grass track and much more.

It is an essential part of the community, I read many years ago that land was given in perpetuity for the good of the people of Peterborough when the showground was transferred from Eastfield. No doubt the lawyers would nit pick the words for the good of.
Should remain a showground.

The showground at Peterborough has all the necessary amenities for large events as well as an excellent indoor arena making it a year round venue. There used to be countless types of bookings from Horses, ponies, classic cars, camping, Truck Fest, etc. It was a ridiculous decision to close it. Such a terrible waste of the infrastructure and excellent facilities.
