It needs to stay ,its a terrible decision to close it. Part of Peterboroughs heritage enough has disappeared already.

Peterborough needs more things to do. Events at the Showground have always been very varied, something for most: Truckfest, dog shows, antiques fairs, motorhome show, speedway, garden show, Fireworks Fiesta are just a few I can think of from the top of my head. It is a big loss to Peterborough now they are gone!

We will be losing so much commerce from the shows at the showground, tourism from the city ( that is so much needed and wanted) as well as 53 years of a top flight sports team. The showground was set up for the city and needs to remain for the city and not the rich who will be the only one able to afford the facilities they have pencilled in.
