The highest ranking health professionals in this country are telling us that it is a safe for the kids to be in school. There are many articles in respected medical journals such as NEJM stating the same.
Remote learning just does not work for many of our kids. There was a segment on WMUR last week about how much the math scores have gone down since remote learning started.
These kids need to be back in school!

Now that a vaccine is available hopefully this will help the education sector as a whole. That combined with safety measures will help us get back to normalcy

My kids are placing sports full time. If contact sports are okay, how come they can’t be in classroom? The education is suffering, virtual learning doesn’t work and not to mention the socialization and emotional development is at a massive detriment and we are doing of kids an injustice.

If we opted for in school learning why aren’t we in school learning? Reading the school board meeting does not explain the reasoning behind this continued remote. Our numbers are low and the teachers that opted in for school want to teach!!

The virtual platform, at best, has been an inadequate educational tool for my elementary school age children. However, the very long hours (6-hour days!) of didactic virtual learning has been severely detrimental psychologically. I feel the concerns I have voiced have fallen on deaf ears.

If Lowell Catholic is offering 5 day in person in the hot zone of Massachusetts, drove past one of Londonderrys elementary schools yesterday and they were open
