We Ethiopians and Eritreans have a culture that welcomes foreign citizens and is tolerant of all religions. Christians and Muslims have lived as neighbours for centuries. However some of the people of states such as South Africa and Libya do not enjoy the luxury of being accepting and open minded, saying this we must remember also to not show hate and prejudice as they have shown us, because that is the difference between us and them. We are a nation of God. Whether we follow Jesus or Mohammed NO RELIGION, allows such grief to be inflicted upon other innocent people. NO ETHNICITY is better than another or should get blamed for the weakness of other's. It is clear, times are hard. Whether Christian or Muslim Ethiopians are Ethiopians and we have love for each other that is deeper than other's may realise. Now is the time to exercise it! Sign this petition to let the world know, WE WILL NOT ALLOW OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS TO BE PUT THROUGH SICH PAIN AND DISRESPECT. Long live our motherland, our people and may our Martyr's be elevated to the Kingdom of God.

I am proud Ethiopian currently living in New Zealand. I am disgusted by the way these selfish individuals have resulted to beating, burning, cutting, and shooting my fellow Ethiopian brothers and sisters. I have cried myself to sleep over the tragedy and am willing to do anything for my people. One love for all my Ethiopiam

R.I.P to all my brothers and sisters who lost their life in the name Jesus Christ... May god punish you for your wicked and heartless crimes you have committed on my people. For those ignorant and racist South African individuals, the South African government must take instant action and bring those individuals into justice and pay for their ruthless actions.
