Rowing for only a brief time with Upper Thames, it's been a pleasure and a joy to get to know a few of you. UTRC has all the makings and the facilities of a great club. We could not have asked for a better equipped or more supportive environment in the lead-up to the World Championships. Cheers to clubs like yours who can keep it simple, keep it focused, and understand that we're all here to grow and develop the sport out of love and passion. Cheers, and thank you so much for helping us get to Worlds and secure Bronze. -Dave

I concur. From afar it feels as though the infighting is spilling over the dam. Best to settle these matters on the race course! Beyond that, I am just happy to be a member of this great club.

Agreed, but it will be important to ensure that the Sub Committee represents the various interests in the Club. It must not be hijacked by any special interest.

A Governance Sub Committee reporting to the members at an AGM is surely the way forward.

Just let a Governance Sub Committee deal with the matter.

How are other members of the Governance sub-committee appointed once the chairman is appointed by the club committee?
