I have known Kevin for years, and looked forward to his presence in the school with my oldest son soon to be in WMHS. An explanation for his dismissal is warranted, particularly with the mitigating circumstances. I demand transparency and honesty from all elected officials.

I've known Officer Dean for many many years, he's been nothing but good to me and my friends. Even through my juvenile years of doing dumb things and getting into trouble, he never disrespected me or said anything out of the way. In fact, he sat me down and talked to me about those decisions some years later and told me he was proud of me for turning my life around. #BringBackDean

Maybe as a community we need to rethink Smiths position and get rid of him with no excuse lets get a petition out there to get rid of him. It is sad that the State Of Va, has a no reason fire policy.
