Took daughter to work in Derby during the snow. Could tell where the border was between Derbyshire and Leicestershire by the state of the roads! She had to video us trying to get her to work so that her boss would believe that she couldn't get there. Was a miracle that no-one was badly hurt on those roads

How can you be stuck in a traffic jam at 23:30? Oh yes, council haven’t prepared the main route from the M1 to the A42...

I live in a small cul-de-sac in Ashby, just put a deep carpet of salt at the entrance to road and the vehicles travelling into the road will spread it,no need for the gritter to get stuck,If there is enough salt would be easy to spread some on the paths also.I live where there are a lot of old people who need to get to the shops after a few days for food.

Disgraceful we rely heavily on hospital and not being able to get there can be dangerous. Am sick of hearing people that drive across counties telling us that north west leicestershire roads are so much worse than other areas. Why are we forgotten
