I absolutely love LOVE the tongue and cheek homage to the 80's. Dont be so stuffy and have a little fun administrators!!! LOVE IT!!!

I see nothing wrong with him wanting to have his pic with his cat as final year of high school, I am sure he will be going off to college soon,I think it is a gesture of an everlasting friendship and a beautiful bonding moment..who is it hurting ?
