The school leaders should reflect on their own time as high school students and provide a supportive formate for a student to display their individuality.

I am an admissions decision maker at a prestigious Uni - to deny this young man's picture would be absurd. It shows creativity and individuality. When I read the update if the picture was denied I will ensure that all future applications to my uni from your students are also denied. Individuality is much more important than conformity. If you can't understand that you have no place in education.

Anyone who objects to this picture being in a high school yearbook might as well go join ISIS.

What a FABULOUS and CREATIVE Sr. pic! I can "feel the Love." I have 4 furry felines--all rescued or adopted. They bring me such JOY! I'm happy to hear a compromise has been reached. CONGRATULATIONS on your Senior Year!

Why should high school be about uniformity? Why shouldn't this guy use this totally innocent and adorable photo? Also, I love people who love their pets:)
