i see yearbooks everyday at work as i print them, this is awesome, funny and worth adding as his senior picture! way to have a sense of humor!

I am a 57 yr old Graphic Designer who has prepared artwork for a few high school yearbooks over the years. Both the cat and Mr. Rodriguez are very handsome in this photo (althogh I personally prefer the alternate pose shown on the CBC news website). There is nothing objectionable, sarcastic, mocking or obscene about this portrait. School officials need to embrace that learning takes place in a forward-looking and not reactive environment. A yearbook is for the attending class of students; it is a document not only of the present time but also a measure for looking back on in the future. Please accept this well-planned and attractive photograph into the student yearbook, and allow your students a moment of creative expression to finish off their high school experience.

A boy and his cat. Absolutely. He should be pictured as he wishes. I didn't take my senior photo in protest, because we all had to dress/look the same.
