Why not?! Kids have photos in year books using all sorts of props; flowers, sports paraprenalia, trees, water falls etc. Why not a cat or dog etc

If this is the way he wants to remember his high school years then let him. What right does anyone have to tell you you can't have your beloved kitty with you in your senior picture....we are quickly becoming a 3rd world country. So much for freedoms in the USA....good luck!!!

The HS in my city allows photos of students with their horses (and they are beautiful)... why not a cat?!
