I think as long as it's not inappropriate, since you or your parents paid for it you should be able to have whatever photograph of yourself that you want as a senior picture. You go to a professional photographer and spend hundreds or thousands of dollars and then the school has the audacity to think they should get to choose what picture to use that's just insane.

Give the guy a break! What harm is it to anyone else if that's the picture he wants for HIS entry in the yearbook? It's his likeness, it's his life, stop being ridiculous and get his chosen picture in the book already'n

I really like what you do :) We had a similary problem at my school, they kicked out 2 people because of what they wrote... at the end the printed their sites on their own and gave them to everyone at the prom :D
