This was my nieces son. Why would a peace officer need to shoot to kill any one with a knife When is a plea for help an invitation to kill. Many of us have problems, does that mean that if we do something a bit out of the ordinary we will be shot and killed. While the police have a tough job to do there is nothing that could justify this result.

this young man lived with his father in Port Mcneill. Although I did not know him personally, his father has worked for my business for a number of years. I met his son a few months ago, as he thought he would come to work for us. I sat down with him for 2 hours to do the SOP training. I was impressed with his demeanor and he was articulate, decent looking young man.

This was my cousin. I may not have known him well, but the use of excessive force by the police has long been an issue that is only getting worse.

Do these RCMP's know how to use a gun? One shot would have been enough but no, these trigger happy RCMP's has to use 7. I truly hope justice is brought to those involved. Shame on Port Hardy RCMP's!!!

I don't think they had to shoot him that many times, even if that's what they were taught in academy.
