I'm so sorry for this terrible incident that was brought on to your family! By not only those that are supposed to make the nation feel safe and protected yet seem to be the most harmful to our towns and cities it's sad! Again my condolences

There must be justice. I believe this whole situation was left unjust. The man didn't deserve to die. The knife was removed from his possession and the cop STILL shot him. James was not diagnosed, but he had a mental disorder. How dare you.

I can understand 1 warning shot and maybe 1 shot to disable the arm the knife was in. Anymore than that and it is just plain MURDER! How can another human being let alone a cop gun down someone with a knife? Whoever you are when you close your eyes at night I truly hope you are haunted with that vision of killing him for the rest of your cowardly life!! My heart goes out to James family and friends.

This is a very sad situation . My thoughts are what happened to a waring shot or rubber bullets maybe a tayzer . Instead the need to shoot a young man so any times . I hope for justice for the grieving family .
