Mohammad Khan was dismissed unfairly from Waitrose,Victoria for taking a tiny sip out of a lemonade bottle just moments before he was going to pay for it. What makes this case so shocking is that management severely breached Mohammad's job description, contract in relation to hours by making him work unsociable hours whilst other partners got much better hours, mistreated him significantly and didn't bother to pay him for a numbers of hours worked since March. It is truly shocking that Waitrose sacked him for his innocent mistake when they are the ones who took 8 months to pay him for a shift done in March! Mohammad was treated completely differently to other pArtners who have arguably commited a lot worse than he has e.g take 6 weeks of unauthorised leave.
