Seeing one hundred people recognize the truth about our 2014 season means more to me than I can put into words. It feels like we are finally starting to set the record straight for the team after all these years.

Watching this climb toward 250 signatures feels like finally getting the truth out about what happened on that mat. Let's push this over the line right now so the GHSA sees just how many of us know the real result of that competition.

This isn't the first time this has ever happened in a sporting event. The GHSA should be on top of this issue. If they don't correct their mistakes then they stand to lose a lot of credibility and support, which could translate into lower ticket sales and revenue, if they do not take corrective action or at least offer some sort of reconciliation.
All athletes should be protected from poor judging errors. Why should they be penalized for the judges mistakes? All they did was perform a state champion worthy routine. It's time for a change for any team that gets robbed of a championship.
If judges incorrectly score any given event and are not FORCED to correct their adjudication then what mandate is there for those same judges to EVER get it right. My daughter's "winning" moment has already been stolen....the very least you can do is name our girls "co" champions!!!!!
The fact that GHSA knows their mistake and won't change it is ridiculous. The team worked so hard and have been through a lot this season. They deserve the title and everything that goes with it. McIntosh is the rightful 2014 Coed Cheerleading State Champions
McIntosh Coed Cheer deserves a public apology and public recognition from GHSA and the judges that made the scoring mistake. The team deserves rings!!!!

I think the actual winners should recurve their credit. Correct the mistake. If I were on the team that won I would never truly be able to accept the win anyway knowing it was a mistake.
