There is simply no doubt this power group; among the very best, deserves induction. At least, do it for Leslie and Felix (RIP) while the others are still with us too.

True pioneers! Feedback, pinch harmonics, distortion, unequaled tone, off beat licks...and all from one pickup and no effects, bass lines that equal lead lines, a drum rhythm so solid the timing is like clockwork, effortless hammond just where needed but so obvious and to perfection....Oh yes, why are they not there already???????

Get this highly deserving, unsung band to the Hall ASAP! Hurry, before they have a chance to throw in someone more "noteworthy" like The Captain & Tennille, Biz Markie, Los Del Rio, Creed, Psy, or the guy-who-once-made-Kurt Cobain-a-sandwich.

Definitely fame material. If "Never in My Life" doesn't get you jumping I don't know what will. Mississippi Queen and Nantucket Sleigh Ride were solid in history and recognized by all.

Mountain could command the stage like no other band in rock. I first saw them in 1970 and continue to be amazed by Leslie and Corky to this day!

I saw these guys twice within a 5 week period back in '71.
I'm 63 now, and, happy that I can still hear after these two shows.

I am sure I speak for many, many others but yes indeed Leslie West of Mountain should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and maybe the band members as a group but certainly Leslie West....

it is truly asinine that fringe rock groups and groups and individuals whose 'rock' heritage is SO remote have been admitted before one of the best guitarists of all time.
